Gimmie a Break

I'm sooo ready to go away for a while.

DH and I are heading to the Dominican Republic for a week, and I am ready.

I'm exhausted! My life is too full, and while there isn't too much I can do about it, I can take a break and enjoy it to the fullest.

The plan? To eat what I want and drink what I want, keeping some semblance of healthy choices in mind. For instance, I'm going to eat the food that interests me! I'm not going to bother with the things I can easily get at home. No plain old mashed potatos, bread or rice for me.

My hard work in January has paid off - I'm 5lb lighter and ready to hit the beach.

And shh - but it's my first time in any semblance of a bikini.
